The 100 Book Challenge: A Journey to Expand My Knowledge and Improve My Leadership Skills
This year, I've set a personal challenge for myself - to read 100 books. This might seem like a daunting task, but I am eager to take on this challenge and see where it will take me. My goal is to read books that I already own - ones that I opened once and never gave a second look, as well as brand new books that I was gifted or have been waiting to get around to.
In January, I was able to read 10 books, which was a big accomplishment for me. While I don't think I have the space to read two books a week, I am committed to this challenge and am eager to see how much I can grow and improve over the course of the year.
The Bible says that "knowledge puffs up," but I don't want to be a "puffy leader." Instead, I want to have a knowledge base that will help me lead better. I already feel like I know so much more than I did last month, and I'm looking forward to doing a monthly review of my favorite books from the month.
This challenge is a big deal for me, and I'm excited to see where it will take me. If you're interested in expanding your own knowledge and improving your leadership skills, consider setting a similar challenge for yourself. Whether it's 100 books or a different number, the important thing is to keep reading and keep growing.
